Working groups are appointed by the FundsXML Standards Committee (FSC) to settle a defined area of work definitely.

Each working group has a group leader who documents the group's progress and reports to the FSC regularly.

As soon as a working group considers an area of work as being finished, it delivers a recommendation to the FSC in order to let the FSC approve of the recommendation.
